No-one likes a chop. Especially one who can't contain himself. Kevin Pietersen is like that. Spoilt with amazing cricket talent, it seems that he is unable to think before he opens his mouth. Social media is another platform that results in a lot of mud on peoples faces. Seems like public relations departments had a purpose after all - let the news simmer for a while, craft an appropriate response, and then respond accordingly. But today we don't filter our thoughts through some kind of appropriateness check. Example: Look, bad driver! tweet: hey to the dickhead in CA 233 785 you drive like a WANKER!...and now 12,766 followers know this. And then it gets retweeted...and, like a virus, it spreads.
But this too is the power of the social media platform. Now imagine if Kevin Pietersen joined our cycling group....
