Cape Town Cycling Views

I refuse to get too excited about this...but the first hints of early morning sunlight are appearing. At around 7am we are actually starting to see the silhouette of the horizon...and this IS a big deal for us Dawnbreaker Warriors who get our rides in before work, school lifts, and school sports demand our limited time from us.
So let the Spring of 2014 slowly unfold before our eyes - and may we capture some of that beauty right here:

Alison looks on as a paraglider leaps off the hills in the North...

The CrackMan took himself for a quiet ride and couldn't resist snapping the super moon that was hanging over a blanket of mist. Things we have learnt: NO cellphone can EVER capture the moon quite the same as the naked eye.

Ah yes - the beauty of Hout Bay from the top of Chapmans Peak. No matter how many times you get to the top, you can only admire the view. #fortunateasfuck

Nats makes the slog up Boyes Drive - on possibly the hottest winters day we had! A cool 30 degrees....

Living close to Tokai is a bonus as I can always see what the weather conditions are going to be like before heading out onto the mountain...
This time its Dots who captured this early morning pic off Table Mountain...can you believe that there is an entire city beneath that fog bank?
Shaun on top of Chappies with his new Bianchi...(I hope that bike knows its in for a beating!)
Alison on her way to another medal at the SA Cross Country MTB Champs

Anyone who has zipped down these lines of Chappies will tell you they they feel like a Tour Pro....just an amazing combination of factors make this an amazing descent.

A late winter afternoon ride out through the Kirstenhof Wetlands...
Greig, who spent 5 years working in Ethiopia, is now back in SA - and loving the South African surrounds. He was once attacked  by a pack of wild dogs in the streets of Addis...but thats another story altogether. Things are much more peaceful here as we pass Noordhoek
The CrackMan took the family out for a ride to Oak Valley - very scenic out there...
