Road Cyclists versus Mountain Bikers

Anyone who cycles will have their own impression of which discipline they prefer - road or mountain. Granted, there are many variants in between these two codes....but for the sake of brevity and ability to stereotype effectively, lets just stick to these two.

I enjoy both disciplines - and many riders nowadays do ride both. Or they have no desire to touch the other side at all. I'm not quite sure what I would label myself as: Roadie or Mountain Biker. Perhaps you find yourself in the same situation. I probably must lean more towards MTB - it is more fun...but then road riding is more savage and less forgiving. So I compiled a table that could compare and stereotype Roadies vs MTBers:
