This morning we rode around Lions Head. The Leeuloop (as named by Twakkie) is a technical piece of riding that does claim a Smooth Knobblie scalp on every other occasion. One of our more technically-sound riders dismounted/fell/crashed (jury is still out) not once, not twice - but THREE times this morning.
We simply can't let that go by unnoticed. But I did promise John I'd say nothing about it. "Chap - not worthy of a blog entry", I was told as he looked up at me from the fynbos cushion he had landed on.
And I shall keep my word - although social media was trending with #3Falls? and a few other people added their surprised opinion to this rare event:
